Course Delivery and Assessment Methods

Brighton Institute of Technology (BIT) courses are delivered using a variety of different methods. Delivery methods include classroom delivery, lectures, group discussions, presentations, case study analysis. BIT assess students using a combination of formative, summative and authentic assessment methods. Assessment is a combination of written assignments, tests and practical demonstrations. In some courses assessments are based on competency, i.e the ability to perform specific skills and is done through a combination of observation, discussion, written assignments, work placement assessments, direct observation and Role plays.
